    Updates

    Tagtäglich kommen neue Updates für die verschiedensten Programme. Um da noch den Überblick zu behalten, werde ich nun immer schreiben, wenn es Updates zu den wichtigsten Programmen gibt, die wir jeden Tag nutzen [oder auch nicht].     • some improvements to Jabber protocol, including account removal ability & finally fixed TLS/SSL support. also a bunch of small bugs were fixed;
    • the MSN filetransfers redesign by borkra, which finally solves two major problems: broken PNG avatars, which could result to 100% CPU usage or a crash in libpng, and random crashes in the old multithreading schema.

    • Viele Fehler der Version 9.01 beseitigt, unter anderem im Mail-Clienten, der zu hohe Prozessorlast erzeugte.
    • Die anderen Bug-Fixes tragen zur Sicherheit, Stabilität und Performance bei.

    P.S.: Ich habe die Programme in der Liste oben nun nach Kategorien sortiert. Außerdem ist der Name des Programmes nun immer mit der Beschreibung der neuen Version verlinkt. Als nächstes werde ich die Liste um Programme der gleichen Kategorien ergänzen, bei denen die Updates schon ein bisschen her sind.

    • "Edit -> Paste in to New Image" replaces "File->Acquire from Clipboard", and is accessible with Ctrl + Alt + V
    • Updates and Language commands moved to Help menu
    • History window now uses much less memory and significantly fewer User/GDI handles
    • Session temporary data is now compressed if the file system is NTFS. This results in less disk I/O and thus higher performance
    • Font list dropdown loads much quicker
